CareCompare.nl provides health insurance comparison information for newcomers and expats in the Netherlands. Our service is free to use and is intended for informational purposes only. We are not an insurance broker or intermediary. We are not licensed by the AFM (Autoriteit Financiële Markten) and do not provide regulated financial advice. For personalised insurance advice, please consult a licensed insurance adviser (assurantieadviseur).
Information accuracy
We make every effort to ensure our premium data, coverage details, and guides are accurate and up to date. However, insurance terms and prices change regularly. Always verify details directly with the insurer before making a decision. CareCompare.nl is not responsible for errors or outdated information.
Affiliate links and commercial relationships
Some links on our site direct you to insurer websites via affiliate networks (such as Awin, Daisycon, or TradeTracker). We may earn a commission when you sign up for a policy through these links. This commission is paid by the insurer and never increases your premium. Our comparison results are ranked by price only — commissions have no influence whatsoever on the order in which plans appear or on our editorial recommendations. This disclosure is made in compliance with ACM (Autoriteit Consument & Markt) requirements for comparison websites in the Netherlands.
Ranking methodology
Insurance plans on CareCompare.nl are ranked by monthly premium from lowest to highest, unless you apply filters such as coverage type. No insurer pays for preferential placement in our comparison results. We do not accept payments in exchange for better rankings. This approach aligns with the principles of the 'Objectief Vergelijken' quality standard for Dutch comparison websites.
Advertising
Our website may display advertisements served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Advertising revenue helps us keep this comparison tool free for users. Advertisements are clearly labelled and are never placed within the comparison results themselves. They do not influence our rankings or recommendations.
